It’s now several months since we launched our steel conservatory base and modular wall system which we have branded ConservaBase, and we are delighted with the volume of orders we are now receiving.
Most of you will already be aware that the DIY conservatories we manufacture are far superior in quality, design and easy of assembly to those of our competitors and our ConservaBase system meets exactly the same extremely high standards.
At ConservatoryLand, we’re very proud of the products we manufacture and have been manufacturing PVCu conservatory frames and conservatory roofs for over 15 years. The introduction of ConservaBase which we fully manufacture ourselves in a dedicated fabrication plant means that we are now the only company in the UK to manufacture THE COMPLETE DIY CONSERVATORY SOLUTION, frames, roofs and steel bases. Of course, this also means that we are extremely competitive on price.
There’s only around four or five manufacturers of steel conservatory bases in the UK, therefore we don’t have a great deal of competition and we have designed ConservaBase to be the very best steel base and wall system on the market. Furthermore, our continuous product development policy will ensure that it always remains so.
The Manufacture
The manufacture of our ConservaBase system is now well and truly in full swing with orders literally rolling in.
We have equipped our fabrication facility with the very latest state of the art machinery and equipment to ensure production runs smoothly, cost-effectively and as you would expect from ConservatoryLand, to absolutely ensure that quality consistently meets the very highest standards.
The Showroom
We’re extending our showroom as we speak, to demonstrate the quality and benefits of our ConservaBase steel base system.
The photographs below show work in progress as we develop our ConservaBase display model.
- Photo 1 shows the steel frame coated with anti-corrosion green oxide, polystyrene insulation and moisture resistant timber floor.
- Photo 2 shows the specific layers of materials that make up the modular walls, including steel wall section, structural plywood, high-density foam insulation, brick carrier and real brick slips.
- Photo 3 shows the internal wall, ready to accept further insulation, standard plasterboard and plaster.
- Photo 4 shows the finished external wall with conservatory cill, ready to accept installation of the conservatory. It is totally indistinguishable from a traditionally built base and walls.
The finished ConservaBase display model will incorporate a fully installed conservatory to enable our customers to see exactly how it looks – exactly like a traditionally built conservatory!
